Mis-sold contract Anyone rlse promised a NHS discount only then no discount

  • I got new contract and shop said I would continue with my NHS discount, but no discount and EE just do not care

@roberthodges  You have to apply the discount each time you upgrade.  EE don’t know that you’re still entitled to it otherwise.   You’ve got 30 days from taking out the contract to generate a new discount code and call customer services to give them this code so it can be applied to your account

I purchased 2 phones on 21st August in N Ireland in a shop. I was told I would get 20% Perk health service discount as I work in the health service. I have been chasing EE since. the latest I was told today was that it only worked in the UK - not NI!!!

I have been mis sold and when I went to the shop I purchased from today, the manager said he cannot do anything and I cannot cancel my contract. Any one else have this problem.

I was with o 2 for years and there was never a problem with health service discount.

I'm literally going through this right now. Got NHS discount ok with my contract 2yrs ago. I renewed my contract recently and was told to reapply for the discount but have since been told my ID is not valid. Must be cos it's NI instead of mainland GB yet they've given it to me for 2yrs and it satisfies the Blue Light card requirements. I'm going to put in a complaint cos I wouldn't have renewed with Vodafone if I'd been told this upfront

@Dwjc69   You have 30 days to get this added to your account via calling customer support once you upgrade.   The discount has to be reapplied every time you upgrade incase you are not entitled to it.    

 Not sure what your going to complain about as you can still have it applied.
