If I’m automatically being charged £2.29 per day while I’m in the EU, do I need to buy the Roam Abroad 30 day pass? How are these things different?

@cdinnen   Depending on how long your abroad for the roam abroad pass might cost you less than paying  £2.29 per day.   This £2.29 per day is only charged if you use your device.  This includes data so if you receive a email you’ll be charged.

The £15/month pass is an alternative to the £2.29 daily charge. After roughly 7 days usage, the monthly option becomes more cost-effective.

Hi @cdinnen

Thanks for coming here.

I can see you have had some great advice, just to add please text ROAMING to 150 before going abroad to make sure the account is activated for roaming.

Thank you all for your swift replies. I’ve had a message from 150 to confirm I’m paying £15 to use my UK allowance while abroad so hopefully that will be all the charges I incur!
