Free samsung watch promotion

I have just upgraded to a Samsung S24 FE and the sales rep told me I would be eligible for a free watch. However the information I can see online about the promotion says its over, so I'm wondering if they lied to me?!

Hi @schmorr25

Welcome to the Community.

Samsung's promotion to claim a Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is for purchases of a qualifying Samsung Galaxy S24 FE device between 26 September 2024 - 31 October 2024. Sadly this promotion has now expired.

Claims need to be made at Claim a Galaxy Watch FE on us.

Hi Ali,

Thanks for your answer- this is really frustrating as the person from EE who handled my upgrade explicitly said that i would still be able to claim a watch. I may have to cancel my upgrade and contract now, as the watch was a big part of why I took the deal.

I'm feeling your pain, I upgraded through the ee website on Friday, clicking on the "tile" within deals that stated s24 fe and free watch deal.

Received phone today, no mention of watch.

Called, only to be told the deal finished, even though it was on the website and I clicked on it and put it in my basket!

Asked if I had any screenshot as proof!

Only way I could get the free watch was to cancel and upgrade to the ultra, which is more money and not the phone or deal I chse or want.

Loyal customer since 2011, might cancel and go elsewhere as I'm  super disappointed in this.

This happened to my wife also, clearly still shown as an offer on website and even in the basket on checkout, so despite offer being 'expired' this wasnt evident and clearly misleading. I've advised contacting the FCA as this is clearly against the Consumer Duty act, if FCA get involved EE will have to prove to them when offer was taken down as it has been now, plus schmorrw25, all calls will have to have been recorded, so you can request a copy to help you find evidence. If they refuse, request a Data Subject Access request and they will have to.

Sadly my wife didnt call, just went through website, in the same situation as Bealee31, but I would suggest not letting this just go, its shocking service.

I have just had this!! They said I will get a free watch and have to claim via Samsung, brought the S24 Ultra from Sutton Coldfield branch, and they made me have a tablet also said it was part of the deal. But I cannot now get the watch? Is this not illegal?? Very poor from EE reps

When did you purchase it?

If you purchased before the 5th December you would be eligible to claim. Details are here: https://samsungoffers.claims/sam/ees24ultrawatch7/en-GB

Your only course of action if you are not happy is to speak to the store and ask if they will consider a return, but this is at their discretion as there is no 14-day change of mind period for in-store sales as you get the product on the day.

Otherwise you can complain here: https://ee.co.uk/help/contact-ee/complaint/complaint-form

I've just had the same problem. Click on a chosen for me upgrade deal that was the s24fe with free Fe watch..... Then now found out that deal has finished. I have a screen shot of the upgrade deal and have just made a complaint.
