Hi, I have added the TNT Sports option to my account but cannot activate, I successfully receive and then input a pin but after that it repeatedly states ‘We are experiencing technical problems right now, please try again later’, however this has been happening for a number of days.

Thanks for any help

Hi @akolaar,

I'd recommend contacting Customer Care so a member of the team can make sure the add-on has been successfully setup on your EE account.

They'll be happy to help. 🙂

I can’t be the only one thinking there should be an online portal detailing the scenarios and steps in which users can log issues, with screenshots if required, so that EE customer care CALLS US BACK!

Anything is possible. It’s a sad reflection of how little EE care about their customers that they haven’t come up with anything better than an online forum of helpless users and the request to contact customer care when no one has the answers.

No one on 150 has the answers either. People are literally trying every workaround possible when the company (EE and BT), in partnership with Discovery+, should be actively investigating the issues and publishing actual solutions.

Hi James

I've contacted Customer Care three times and they've told me they can see it is added as my inclusive extra and they can't figure out the issue hence why I came to this forum. Last night, I got a text telling me to contact discovery plus for assistance and I don't think that's good enough. My contract is with EE and EE hasn't been able to provide me a service I'm paying for.

Thanks

Will

Have you had a discovery+ subscription through EE or elsewhere in the past @akolaar?

James

Nope, never had discovery plus

Same issue going on for 7 weeks now, contacted Discovery+ - tell me to contact BT, contact BT - tell me to contact EE. Numerous telephone calls and emails doing the same thing of removing and adding but there is nothing to activate!

Okay, I finally managed to get it to work after talking to discovery plus. They told me I already have a discovery plus account despite not signing up for discovery plus and not having been sent any log in details. I went into the app and selected reset password using my BT ID. I then reset my password and managed to log in and access TNT sports.

I certainly wasn't advised that my BT details had been used to create a discovery plus account but, if you find yourselves unable to activate your TNT account using any of the various links, try logging into the discovery plus app using your reset password.

Having this same problem. Been trying it since early September and every time it just says we are experiencing technical problems please try again later

I’ve tried it on WiFi, 4g, 5g all the gs and still doesn’t work. I’ve tried it on iPad, laptops, phones and nothing will make it work.

I tried it the other method where you use your BT ID and then it threw an error too to say no active subscription recognised. Although I have just phoned BT and they said they closed that BT account a few years ago (that did have BT sport included) and that the issue is EE and now EE are saying it’s not them as all looks good on their side.

I’m running out of ideas as no one seems to know how to fix this and no one at EE seems to want to help get it resolved yet it’s a part of my package and I don’t really want to go and pay the £29.99 elsewhere when I could be getting it through my account.
