Can't buy NReal Air

I'm not a EE client. However, the website clearly states that I should be able to buy them from a store.Screenshot 2022-06-06 015533.png

I've gone to two different ones in my city and both said that the order NEEDS to be done online, even after I say I'm not a client. I'm confused? I really want to get these but I've run into wall after wall.

No, I'm looking to 'just' but a pair. It looks like I can order from Amazon US and get delivered next week.

I can see most fo these comments are from a while ago, but the buying process from EE sounds pretty painful and slow, so I'm guessing buyng online will be quicker (and only slightly more expensive, including relevant taxes). Unless the process has got a lot easier over the past few months.

@myProfile : You cannot order an accessory online unless you already have a mobile phone or SIM contract from EE. You are expected to pay for it along with your existing EE mobile plan.

You can however order these from any EE Store & if they don't stock them they will order them in from another store that does via their Sales Plus system.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Which seems to be the stock answer that has been echoed without update for months. I guess that means it's still more timeconsuming to buy from EE than to import (where I know they will cost 10GBP more, but will arrive on Tuesday).

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully at some point the nreal air glasses become available for general population to buy in the UK, but until then I'll stick to a company that actually wants customers.
