Hi Community
Im just hoping someone could possibly shed some light on adding accessories to account on the pay monthly option?
I have 2 phone contracts with EE I joined them in November 2022, I have average credit score, it's certainly not terrible ( I have 2 iPhone 14 pro max phones) after a couple of months of being a customer I bought my partner an old switch through EE for £10 upfront then paying the rest monthly. At the time it said online that I could have up to 4 accessories on my account I assume the old switch has used one of those slots.
So today my old Xbox went faulty, I thought to myself well why not just get one through EE as it offered me pay monthly at the time, so what I can't understand is why all of a sudden every item in the accessories shop is now requiring a full upfront payment...
Can anyone shed some light as to why this might be. I tried to talk to EE about it but they couldn't tell me a reason why because apparently the person on the phone didn't know why it was either.
I've now been with them 7 months, never missed a payment. Pay by direct debit also.
It also says at the bottom of the order page that if you have been a customer for 6 months then pay monthly would be available also. So I guess I'm just looking to see if anyone has had a similar experience or could shed light on why paying monthly could have been removed from my account.

The deal is subject to credit status. This takes into account any accessories and mobile commitments already on your account.
Youll have to try again in 3 months.

Hiya mate, just wondering did they deal every come back to pay monthly? Same thing just happened to me an Xbox deal £21 a month was on website a few days ago now only letting me pay full price, how long did it take to come back? Thank you
