Call abroad from UK free add on

Hi, I recently added the £2 international call add on to my mobile contract but there was confusion as to whether it was being applied. The technician I spoke to thought the Call abroad free add on would work and added that rather than the £2 option. I'm a bit worried as I need to make a lot of calls to USA and can't afford for it not to work. The free add on doesn't appear on the EE website. Does anyone know whether it does still work ? Thanks

Someone deleting my replies, EE doesn't like international instant dial services being used on its network. Look around before you dial because the rates are too high

Interesting, for India it says

India Mobiles
1p/min
020 7124 6666
(Text '999' to 80550
  for £5 call credit)
Connection charge: 2p

so this in total is it 3p per minute or its 2p per call connect and then 1p every minute?

Best Regards,
Raj

I had the same question to It’s not showing up on the EE app also  I did text 150 to see if I can add on

CALL ABROAD

I’m having a  error message saying.

Sorry we haven't been able to add the £2.16 IDD Pass option to your EE plan. Please call us on 150 and we'll apply it for you.

don’t know why it wouldn’t let me add it on to my account but I have contacted EE about it. They have to apply it for you over the phone for you.

Hello, I used to have  calling abroad from the UK add-on

for free on my account. Just wondering if there is going to be a new update again for it for free again in the future.

as it cost £2.16p. Now

since I upgraded my plan. I used to have it for free and I have spoken to upgrade guide and ask them if it were going to move over to my new plan and the guide said yes since I close the app open up again it wasn’t apply on my account.   so I call 150 on my mobile. And spoken to a different EE guide and she said it’s not for free and she told me it’s £2.16 but I’ve been promised that my add-on would move over to my new plan for free. EE ass let me down.
