By sport smart benefit

I switched from bt sport smart benefit (which worked fine) to roaming abroad back in May 2022. This weekend I switched back to bt sport and I received a text from 150 to confirm that the smart benefit is active. However I have signed into bt sport today and it tells me that I need to upgrade my package to watch any content. Any suggestions how to fix this?

Having spoken to Technical Support it appears that I need to re register
with BT Sport and for some reason I didn't get the email link to do this.
Hopefully this will be sorted in the next 24 hours.

  1. Every single time I go to use the smart benefit of BT Sport I have the ID003 error coming up, I call EE helpline EVERY time and EVERY time I’m told they have to send a message to BT to contact me as they can’t resolve the issue and they can’t just transfer. When I swapped benefits in the past I was told I had to change my email address to enable it to work as the original was shut down. As EE are owned by BT can you PLEASE COORDINATE A BETTER PROCESS it sends my blood pressure up through the roof it’s so frustrating.
