I have a Blue Light Card and tried to sign it up on perks but gets knocked back every time
Thanks for giving us your ID card. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to use this one as we’ve been unable to identify the details in the image. The following supporting information has been provided by the team:
" Please refer to Blue Light Discount terms for adding EE Perk "
I don’t have a work email as I do volunteer work with NHS on blood bikes.
I have sent images of my card.
it’s a farce. All to get 20% discounts added to my new phone contract.
EE definitely don’t seem to want anyone to use this scheme and make it as difficult as possible
very poor service EE.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi, download the Bluelight card app. Log in using your ID and password. Search for EE. Then generate a code from the app/website that can be used to get the 20% off. Thank you.

Did that and not accepted when ordered new phone. Was advised you do it by joining EE perks and do it that way. EE try every way to get out of honouring anything. Had it when I had a roaming pass and charged me for using phone in another country covered within that perk. Took months for them to refund me.

You don't need a Blue Light Card to register for the Perk discount, @LaMer. Just upload your photo ID to verify your email address and that you work for a qualifying company/organisation.
If you need support in using your Blue Light Card service or discount, you will need to speak to them directly.
