BT Sport App not longer working

Oranda

For some years I have had access to the BT Sports app free linked to my EE mobile contract. It was an offer that was available some time ago as long as you have EE Broadband as well.

Well I still have the same EE mobile contract and subscribe to EE Broadband but I’m no longer able to log into the BT app. I get a message from the BT app saying I don’t have a valid subscription.

Spoke with mobile support team today, and they are telling me I can no longer receive it for free and have to have 4K Apple TV add on on my EE broadband contract or pay £20 per month to add to my mobile contract. Can EE just withdraw my access now and ask me to pay?

Has anyone else has this issue?

Thanks XRaySpex. I did try the TNT sports link with the EE technical person but it still says I don’t have an active subscription.

Seems like EE have dishonoured their contract with me as they will now have to pay TNT for my subscription.
