I have been sent a text message from EE with a link to register for the 6 months free trial of Apple TV+. Selecting the link on my iPhone takes me to safari and then redirects to AppleTV. It shows a 'Cannot Connect' error. How do I get it to work?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @Spoons72
Thanks for coming to the community.
Do you have Apple TV+ showing as an add-on in your EE app?
Have you had a text with a link from EE to get set up?
Leanne.

Hi there
Yes, I found a solution to this yesterday on this forum which involved editing the URL that I received in the text message from EE.

Thank you, Spoons72. It worked perfectly.
I wonder why EE does not correct this error in their text generator to avoid future problems for other users.
Best!

I'm glad it worked. I agree, it does seem like a simple thing to fix this error.

Hi there @Beaj66
Thanks for coming to the community.
Do you have Apple TV+ as part of a mobile or broadband and TV account?
If you log into your EE account and select add-ons, do you have Apple TV+ showing?
Thanks.
Leanne.
