Apple TV freebie not working although it says it's activated!

Hi

I signed up for the free 3 month thing in December and it said it's activated and it shows activated on my info but it's not actually working at all and every time I open AppleTV it asks if I want to subscribe!

Any ideas?

Texts would still normally come through to an iPad @Loopy65, but if nothing is received, it is worth trying to put the SIM in a phone to see if it comes through there for you to activate.

If that still doesn't work, give our customer service guides a call, and they can have a look into this further for you.

When you activated the Apple TV offer, did you receive a text from 150 to get set up? 

Does the Apple TV add-on show active in your EE app?

I think it's going wrong because when apple send a code to my 'phone' it's not coming through as it's a data plan for my ipad that I have. I have no clue how to get around this!

It's all sorted now .. for some reason the activaation code just wasn't being received by my ipad. I couldn't switch out the sim as my sim is an e-sim - good idea though.

EE have now added the free trial to my phone instead which is fine. I'm puzzled why the ipad wouldn't receive the text though!
