Apple Music ‘added extra’

Hi.

I have one inclusive extra on my recent EE contract. I opted for Apple Music a couple of weeks ago. My account says I’ve activated it but can’t find any evidence of it on my apple account. When I go to subscriptions at the bottom of the page is ‘EE plan benefits’ and if I click that I get the message ‘Your mobile plan does not include any new subscriptions to Apple services’

I have restarted my phone and uninstalled Apple Music. Neither did anything. My number is correct on the phone and have only one apple account.

Any ideas please?

Thanks

John

Hi Leanne. I don’t think subscriptions are in ICloud settings as such but get what you mean! In subscriptions  then scroll down to the bottom and ‘EE Plan Benefits’ and get the message when clicked on..

’Your mobile plan does not include any new subscriptions to apple services’

Apple Music still shows as expired in the list of subscriptions. Using the Apple Music app then it works as though i was still subscribed. I can only presume that the EE benefit is actually working but not showing as such? I have unsubscribed to Music in the past and once the money has run out then access to Music is curtailed. I’ll say again that I did get the text when I picked Apple Music as my benefit and followed the link supplied in the text. This opened the Apple Music app and a page opened saying something along the lines of it was checking my subscription or something - unfortunately I didn’t take much notice and it soon disappeared! There is no mention of EE in the Apple Music app and it says my sub has expired. To repeat I have access to Apple Music as if I was subscribed and can only assume the benefit is actually working. I can today change my benefit as a month has passed though will stick with Music.

I dont have an active Apple Music subscription. i changed my inclsuive benefit from Neflix today as i am now getting charged for netflix despite having it as an extra.

When i click on my EE plan benefits it says "your mobile plan does not include any new subscriptions to Apple Services"

I recieved my activation text and it says it has been added but wont let me link an account to it

Hi

having the same issue as many here

recently got new FULL WORKS plan from EE.

APPLE ONE now shows as cancelled in my subscriptions (correctly) but there is no sign of Apple Music , TNT , or Netflix showing as subscriptions anywhere on my phone despite sucesfully adding them via the app as my 3 chosen EXTRAS.

As previous people have said - Apple Music working fine but when you click on the EE BENEFITS it says my plan doesn’t include any.

I’ve deleted all 3 apps and gone to them via the EE TEXTS to set them up again.  They all work fine as before.  But do NOT show in subscriptions.
Can anyone solve this please as it should show.

Apple have confirmed I have a subscription

many thanks

Hi @Grandis

Welcome to the community

Just to confirm, the services are working correctly as they should, they're just not showing in the Apple subscriptions section. Is that right?

Chris

Good morning Christopher and thank you for your reply.
YES. exactly that. All 3 benefits are showing as activated in my EE app. See enclosed screenshot. But none showing in subscriptions.
I am not sure if Netflix is even classed as a subscription as it is showing in purchased apps for £0 which is correct.
it’d the Apple Music app  that isn’t showing anywhere - and as mentioned before - when you click on EE PLAN BENEFITS it states their are none linked to my plan.
