What is happening with it? Are you getting any error messages?

I do get an error message. When I click the link from EE, which should
automatically launch my profile rather than ask me for an Apple ID, I'm
told by Apple Music app that this subscription is already being used.

I phoned Apple and said it was an EE problem. EE tell me to phone Apple. A
bit like tech support tennis.

I had the same issue when I changed phones last time and indeed it was an
EE issue which eventually got resolved.

I don't really like paying for something I can't use as you might imagine.

Are you able to assist me with this?

Is your Apple Music paid through your EE bill or one of your smart benefits?

My Apple Music is a smart benefit from EE. Not so smart though perhaps. EE
eventually sorted it out through deactivating it and then reactivating when
I had my new phone. This time EE tech are sending me in circles. Nothing is
working on my new phone in terms of their advice. Just blame Apple.
Apple support are really helpful and it's obvious it's an issue with EE.
It's too complicated to explain what Apple told me here.
I'll have to call EE tech support again when I have time.

Have you logged out of Apple Music on your old phone?

I can't as the screen isn't responsive (another flip phone bites the dust).
Same issue with my last flip phone but EE managed to fix it to my next but
broken next gen flip phone. Apple Music ID is my telephone number and the
rest is done by EE as Apple told me. EE won't accept this but Apple can see
it is the case.

I also have an an android phone so no Apple ID other than my telephone
number provided by EE in automatic setup done through texting me links to
activate my Apple Music.

Hi @Brian5555,

I believe you should still be able to log in to your Apple account using your phone number as your ID.

Could you give it a try?
