Approximately a week ago, I've added AirPods to my EE account in a 24 month deal and the 24 month bundle was the deal clincher for me.
Unfortunately I received no activation the Apple Music with my package or via text/email. When I spoke to EE they asked me to speak directly to Apple as it's their deal? This is clearly advertised on the EE website so I would have hoped for a bit more than that. Anyway, I spoke with Apple who advised that they offer the three months as standard and of course, can't comment on network deals.
I sense a back and forth is going to carry on here looking at other feedback. I just need my pass added, I cannot carry on with this deal without Apple Music as part of the package as is advertised.
Can anyone from EE help me out?
Thanks

Hi @Anthonyphelps1,
Welcome to the EE Community
What is the result when loading up http://applemusic.com/ee/welcome ? This needs to be done using the number you have added the Beats to, so if you have multiple numbers on your account make sure to double check which number the Beats are being billed on.

I also did this on 3rd of May and no Apple Music link was received. I’ve typed in that address you’ve given from the number I added them to and it says ‘no subscription through EE’.
This does not surprise me at all - we have had this with an Xbox where we did not get the Xbox game pass - escalated into a complaint and they ended up having to add it on by charging me but by then reducing my bill each month. Also had this with a PlayStation where we should have got vouchers and they weren’t received and I was told to ring PlayStation. Didn’t ring true to me and how right was I. Was basically fobbed off cos the staff didn’t know what to do. After going backwards and forwards I ended up returning it. The staff aren’t even told how to add these bundles on.

@Rogd1
Do you have multiple lines on your account? If so can you log into your online EE account to check which number the AirPods are linked to?
The activation will only detect the subscription on the number which the Add-to-Plan add is billed on.

Yes I have 4 mobile phones on the same account and we have tried to add it to the one where the add on has been billed to and the other 3 and they all say the same message. I can’t believe EE are still selling these ‘bundles’ but they can’t fulfil their contract by providing all aspects of the bundle.

I’ll try it when my partner comes in from work with that phone. He already pays for the family apple subscription directly through Apple though - will that affect it when he tries the link? What difference does it make if WiFi is not on?

@Rogd1
By visiting the link without WiFi it just helps Apple detect the connection and mobile number you are using.
The subscription from EE will take over his Apple subscription.

I’ve tried it with WiFi turned off on the correct device and also the other 3 phones we have and none of them work. I’m not surprised. When I call EE they won’t know what to do either.
