So I am currently using a new pay-as-you-go sim after having an account and SIM contract for many years with EE, the reason for the change being a couple unpaid months due to a tough time and other bits (boring).
however, my old phone number is now out of service, but the search online is telling me it’s still held/carried by EE. so you are still in possession.
is there anyway i can go back to using this number? i am willing to pay for my old number back. it’s the number i held for years and is registered to literally everything and everyone. i have a home business it’s attached to. and i have recently had a member of family admitted to hospital and therefore needing phone calls from multiple people and services, all attached to my old number and this is super important to me.
is there anything that can be done? please and tyia for any responses.

@connorsymcox , depends how long it has not been used, but if on a monthly contract and you have made all your payments, then I would suggest ringing customer service and they will be able to let you know,. When did you make the last payment?
You may find that the number may now work, as it would have been suspended until such time as making the payment, I would have thought.

@connorsymcox , I cannot answer that one, you would have to speak to customer service to see if you can get it back, I am, like a lot of us, just a customer like you, trying to help, there is no account access here.
