Previously I used to get text abroad when travelling, now I don't. How to receive text, I don't need to make calls or texts, just receive.

Does your phone show a connection to a local network in your host country?
Are you on PAYG or pay-monthly?

Hi @namitachaudhary.
Thanks for confirming are you aware if you activated roaming before leaving the UK?

Receiving text messages needs a mobile network connection, so if your phone doesn't show coverage - that's your underlying issue. If you are abroad this is called roaming.
If you have previously had coverage abroad (from your first post - "previously I used to get text abroad") then ... Are you on pay-monthly or PAYG? Roaming is not normally deactivated unless you specifically request it.
