all of a sudden my phone stopped getting or making any calls

I still call and receive calls from whats up though

Calls using WhatsApp are not really calls, that's web-calling over data.

Your issue applies to calls over the mobile network.

When were you last able to make or receive a call? What happens when you try?

Are you using mobile data to use internet-apps (including WhatsApp) or are you using WiFi? I'm trying to establish whether this is an issue of no coverage.
