I’ve had the new iPhone 17 pro I’ve put my old SIM card in and I have no service

  1. Was the phone from EE.
  2. Are you in the UK.
  3. Did you ask for a new SIM.
  4. Does your SIM work in your old phone.

Hi yes phone from ee, I am uk, I didn’t ask for a new sim, sim worked fine in other phone 

@Crofty2018  when you set up your new phone did you accidentally request to transfer the sim over to esim,   
did you take the sim out if the old device before setting up the new device? Was the old device an iPhone ?

I’ve no idea… no I put sim in after I think 🙈 old device was 15

Hi @Crofty2018 

It sounds like you may have an eSIM in your iPhone, and the physical SIM no longer active. 
You can check this by going into the phone settings > general > about > ICCID to see if it shows a long number against the eSIM option. 

Check if your old iPhone 15, or new iPhone 17, works without the physical SIM inserted.
