Hello all,

when i travel from UK to India, i bought new sim in UK(since i was using only Lyca Portugal sim) ; after i reached India, i tried to recharge from EE.co.uk using my Euro credit card but, the payment was failed.

then i tried using https://www.overseastopup.com/ then the recharge was successful and received SMS says that i have to Dial 150 and after that have to dial some other numbers to activate the sim;

But, the difficulty is Im not able to dial 150 from India because, if i dialed then no sounds comes and after some time the call disconnected also its new SIM so, what shall I do?

Guys, please help me to resolve my problem.!!

Did you use that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad? EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Hi I have been told by EE customer services that to call EE from abroad in INDIA, I just have to dial 150.  Is this correct?

Is the number you quote free even if I do not have the roaming add on for India?

TIA!
