Wifi Calling not working

Over the last week, the WIFI calling has not been working. I stay in an area where EE connectivity is ZERO so we rely on WIFI-calling but the WIFI calling has not been working at all. What can we do?

@SGN305  Have you tried just restarting the router?  Have you tried restarting the device?

Yes. Did both, twice now.

Does your phone connect to WiFi Calling if you turn on airplane mode, then reactivate WiFi?

On airplane mode, it can be 'Wifi Enabled' but it doesn't work. I have been trying to make calls to people and even at 150 but it doesn't work. I have restarted my phone and my router quite a few times. Its been about a week now.

I've had similar problems since Monday this week. Prior to that everything worked without issue. After doing all of the troubleshooting asked of me, I've been told that it's the fault of my broadband provider.

I wouldn't hold your breath regarding a useful solution. I'm unfortunately stuck with little connectivity until either this magically sorts itself or my contract ends next year.

Hi Chris,

 

I have (as part of all the troubleshooting I've done with EE). Other networks appear to be fine. I've changed nothing on my side, as everything was working with my broadband provider until Monday this week.

At this point the only thing I can think could be the cause is that Wifi calling is being blocked because EE thinks my public ipv4 address is not in the UK.

As I said though, at this point I've given up. My ISP tells me I need to get in touch with EE to sort it. EE tells me I need to get in touch with my ISP. Deadlock.
