Hello, In May of the previous year, I successfully utilized WiFi for text messaging for approximately four months. Currently, when I attempt to send a text message, I receive a spend cap error message (PSB). I wish to maintain my spend cap at 0 for clear reasons. The geographic location appears to be irrelevant to this issue; initially, the service functioned correctly while I was in the Falkland Islands, but it subsequently ceased unexpectedly. The problem persists in both Malta and Norway as well. I am connected to WiFi during these attempts to send messages.
Appreciate any help you can provide.
"Hi from EE.
You don't have enough Spend Cap balance. If you're the account holder, you can increase or remove your Spend Cap at ee.co.uk/SpendCaps or text SPEND CAP to 150. Please visit ee.co.uk/managespendcap for more info.
Thanks."

Texting via WiFi Texting/Calling costs the same as sending it over the mobile network. So will hit the spend cap.

WiFi-calling is not officially supported abroad and is only intended as a coverage enhancement within the UK. It does operate on the basis of charges being exactly the same as if the mobile network was used, to do otherwise would cause billing issues when calls handover between mobile & WiFi.
If/when it does work abroad, as in your case, roaming charges therefore apply.
