Using phone in Italy

Hi, I have a business contract phone and I'm going to Italy for about 4 months, then coming back to the UK.

I believe I can use it for 90 days with paying extra roaming charges but I'm unsure what happens after that and what my options are.  Does the phone just stop working both for calls and internet, and is there an option to extend the 90 days by paying an additional charge?

Thanks in advance

Hi @borednow

Welcome to the community.

I would say it's probably best to speak to our Business Support team so that they can check how your plan and account is set up at the moment. They'll be able to advise you best on how to proceed.

Have a safe trip and a great time.

Ha ha.  I tried that and got a really confusing answer that didn't help in the slightest.

Thanks anyway 😊

The best advice you're likely to get is by familiarising yourself with the Stable Links Policy.

You can read it at the bottom of Page 2 of PAYM T&Cs

For consumer contracts you may only spend no more than 2 months in any 4 month period roaming outside UK. Anything beyond that will be subject to per-unit surcharges. I'm not sure it'll be any diff for business.
