My EE phone bill is usually abou £12+ per month. Before coming to New Zealand on holiday, I called EE, and for roughly an extra £5 per month, I set up a situation where I should not get data charges here. My bill has rocketed to about £45 per month. I URGENTLY need this sorting out please. I daren't call, or that will probably cost me another fortune! I am a very UNHAPPY CUSTOMER now. AG.

Hello @andrewgilbert.
Welcome to the EE Community.
Are you able to log in to your My EE account online?
You will be able to find what your additional charges are for within your My EE, if you are unsure what they are for after viewing them please pop back and let us know.

This sounds like the "Roam Further pass" which allows you to use your existing allowances in particular countries, NZ included. The cost is £11.40/month, and if you've added this mid-month then you could have pro-rata charges for that.
Checking your bill as advised, is the first thing - to establish what these charges are.

Hello. First Thank you for the reply. I think it was the Roam Further Pass. However, I added it a few days before I arrived in NZ. I have had two of the sky-high monthly bills now.
Hey I'm not familiar with how EE community works, are you/ someone able to escalate my issue to EE customer service?
Best Regards, Andrew.

No, this is not CS nor a front-end to it. We are just users like you.
The Roam Abroad Pass is charged pro-rata from the day you order it (text ROAMING PASS to 150) to the day you cancel it (text STOP ROAMING PASS to 150). You do start by paying up to the next bill date. Then in the billing month you cancel it you will get a rebate for the days after you cancel.
