I am on a pay monthly contract and have paid extra for the roam abroad pass. Currently in Canada and can’t call home or send text messages. This is the only way of contacting my elderly parents.
Data seems to be ok and I can use wifi for WhatsApp etc.
I have tried restarting my phone. I have tried choosing different network ( Bell and Telus). I activated roaming before I left the uk.
I’m at a complete loss as to why I can’t text or call home. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve done that a few times. Just waited 10 mins. I did contact us tech support mobile

You could well need to wait more than 10 mins. They could be busy taking calls & it's just after the w/end. Patience is called for.

Sorry I mean pop up. It’s early. I’ve tried it again waited 10 mins nothing.
I just wish EE could contact me. I need my phone to work today.
