Received the text message below but I have barely used any data? Is this a clever scam as it appears to come from 150?

 

You've reached 80% of your Spend Cap. Please speak to the account holder, or if you are the account holder, manage your cap at ee.co.uk/SpendCaps or text SPEND CAP to 150.

That looks like a legitimate message from EE. Do you have an active spend cap?

Hi @Brian_1961 ,

 

The spend cap is unlikely to relate to data usage but more likely other things that can be charged for.

 

That URL should be safe to visit.
