Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus Turn on Roaming

Hi. I have signed up to the roaming data pass for the USA but I'm confused as to whether I need to take additional steps to activate it on my phone. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus and there is a data roaming setting that is currently off. I assume I need to turn this on when I get to the USA? I was told that now I have paid for roaming I don't have to do anything else so I'm unsure.

Thanks for the help.

Hi @vito45

Welcome to the community.

You need to have roaming activated on your SIM, which is usually done before you travel. The add-on allows you to use your allowances abroad. The setting in your phone is to allow your phone to connect to mobile data.

You would need all three to be enabled for your phone to connect to a US data network.
