Roaming

Hi, 

gone to Tenerife for holiday, brought the £15 roaming add on for my phone and my girlfriends phone. Hers is working mine on the other hand is not working, I have data roaming on in my settings and had it on before we left the UK. But I am currently not getting any signal or data.

Did you text ROAMING to 150 before travelling abroad? 

This would let you know if roaming was activated for you to use the add-on when roaming.

No I didn’t, but I got a text the same day when I paid for the add on. But I can’t text now as I have no signal.

Using your phone abroad is called roaming - data roaming just means using mobile data whilst roaming, like text roaming is sending a text whilst roaming.

Roaming is normally enabled by texting ROAMING to 150 before leaving the UK, if you've not done this then your symptoms are explained and your only recourse is to contact CS via another means, to enable it.
