Good afternoon all,

basically my partner is abroad (Portugal) with a mobile phone on my account. No one on EE customer service seems to know how to help her/me. She don’t have any way to contact anyone (only when got wi-fi through WhatsApp). Roaming is active everything seems okay they said from customer service. She’s away with my newborn baby and I wold like to contact with her often. The Roam Abroad pass was also activated and nothing. Customer service through the chat says that must be me dealing with this. I’m in UK … anyone have idea how to help me please?

many thanks in advance

Hi @ricardomreis

I would suggest speaking to our Mobile Care team so that they can check everything on our side to make sure it's all set up.

Assuming your partner and yourself are both on pay-monthly, login to your myEE online account and find the section for "parental & data controls".

Check that under your partner's number, the following 2 options are enabled:

1: International roaming

2: Call abroad & Premium rate

If you can't enable the Roaming Abroad and the Call Abroad & Premium Rate settings of your online MyEE, you will need to call CS. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. via Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
