Hello,

I am now in Croatia. My iPhone 2020 SE permits international calls and works fine when I dial a Croatian landline.

However, it will not connect to a Croatian mobile number. I have checked that the Croatian mobile number is valid (by dialling from a Croatian landline).

@gvs1  Have you enable on the iPhone in settings > phone > Dial Assist ?

Yes, dial assist is enabled and my phone (iPhone SE 2020) has no problem reaching a Croatian landline with the same international code. But it fails to connect (either SMS or voice) to Croatian mobiles.

I have had the "receiving" mobile phone checked and it receives calls from Croatian landlines. Also my daughter in England successfully sent a text message to this "receiving" Croatian mobile so I don't think there's any problem with the Croatian end.

What happens when you try to call the number?

Have you tried with dial assist turned off?

I’ve tried turning off Dial Assist, it makes no difference.

What happens? - I get three beeps and “the rest is silence”.

Have you tried connecting to a different network in your phone settings? 

Does this happen with more than one number?
