I am going to New Zealand for 6 weeks Do I need to pay for 2 x £25 add on? And does that allow me to use my UK allowance with no extra charges for calls/ texts / data?

Hi @FionaG1

Welcome to the community. That sounds very exciting. 🙂

Do you have a plan that includes inclusive extras? If so, you could change to/add the Roam Abroad Pass, which would allow you to use your allowances in New Zealand at no extra cost.

It depends where your billing date(s) falls within those 6 weeks. At worse there could be 2 of them & you'll end up paying more than 2 x £25.

The Roam Abroad Pass costs £25 per billing month from the billing month you order it (text ROAMING PASS to 150) until the billing month you cancel it (text STOP ROAMING PASS to 150). For all billing months during which you have the Pass it is charged at the full £25. However if the Pass is carried over from the 1st billing month to the next it will be charged pro-rata for that 1st month alone.

Remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your account.

Activating the roaming facility - which enables access to foreign networks and without which you won't get coverage abroad - is usually done by texting ROAMING to 150 before leaving the UK.

You should be able to check your billing options & add-ons by using your myEE online account or app.
