My data roaming isn’t working, it worked the first day I was abroad (Spain) but isn’t working now, I have signal and 4/5g shows up but doesn’t work. Roaming is enabled in my phone settings, I have texted ROAMING to 150, my spend cap is set to £20 (much more than needed with the £2.47 roaming abroad charge, yet it still doesn’t work. I have restarted my phone many times. On EEs website it says my roaming has been enabled. What do I do because I need this fixed. I’ve tried calling EE many times and I’m always speaking to AI which tells me the exact same thing every time.

@Luke817 Have you tried manually searching for a different network on the device? Have you just tried restarting the device?

@Luke817 : Can you make calls & texts?

Yes I have tried that and It still won’t work annoyingly.

I haven’t tried that because I think that it outside of the £2.47 a day allowance, but I think that would be ok. I can only not use data. I have sent texts and called 150 but I’m not sure if that’s the same

There's an issue of terminology here.
"Roaming" is using your phone on foreign networks, be it for voice, text or data - this is not a phone setting, but an account-level one. It's not a selectable option on myEE online account, so I'm not sure what you're looking at.
"Data roaming" means using mobile data whilst roaming, in a similar way to "voice roaming" could mean making calls whilst roaming.
By having signal, it sounds like you are roaming - by being able to connect to foreign networks. If a particular service (voice, text or data) has worked before but has now stopped working, a good first test is to manually search for, and connect to, an alternative local network.

@Luke817 The £2.47 day charge is billed so you can use your tariff allowance while there. So every time you use data make a call send a text on any day you get charged £2.47 that day to use the device. The £2.47 covers you for the entire day to use your tariff allowance. Also you can not use more than 50Gb of data per month when roaming if your tariff has this allowance or more. But have you checked you have got data remaining from your allowance for you to use ?
The problem that many don’t understand is that data roaming isn’t roaming it’s just the ability to use data abroad provided roaming is enabled on the account. That’s why some say roaming is enabled the device and it doesn’t work when abroad.

The £2.47 daily roaming charge cover your in-allowance calls & texts but if you've already called & texted 150 (for free) that should be enough to confirm roaming calls & texts are working.
I just trying to ascertain whether it was a roaming-in-general issue or just restricted to data. It would seem to be the latter.

Indeed so, ll the more reason to reinforce the point each & every time it gets posted here.
That, and the marketing focus on data. But we need clarity from @Luke817 before being able to advise further - I do agree with Xray in suspecting this is a data-specific issue.

Ok that makes sense. It’s data roaming not working yet, still no fix yet.
