Roaming and make calls internationally from uk

Hi would EE live chat be able to turn on make international calls from UK and turn on roaming

@Profile closed : Which is it you want, making International calls from the UK to non-UK nos. or making calls while roaming abroad. These are 2 diff things. The former while in UK, the later while not in UK.

You are not roaming when you call a non-UK no. from the UK. They count as International calls & are chargeable.

International calls & texts to overseas nos. from UK can be rather expensive but EE has a free add-on that anyone, on PAYG or contract, can apply for to give these calls & texts at a fraction of the standard rates. See The Free CALL ABROAD Add-on for Cheap Calls/Texts from UK .

Conversely if you are going abroad, you can set it up yourself by texting ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure roaming is enabled on your account. You only need do this if your are on contract. PAYG is auto enabled for roaming.

How come contract customers roaming isn't enabled automatically but PAYG is
