Roaming Pass vs Roaming Charges - I have 3 Phones on my Contract

Afternoon, I have 3 phones  and travelling form the UK to Spain end of August returning early Sept:

I have been told it's £2.47 per phone per day for ROAMING CHARGES - 19 days, so £2.47 per day x 3 Phones is: £7.41 per day x 19 days = £140.79

Alternatively, ROAMING pass is £25.00 per month x 3 phones = £75.00

But need to check if it’s a calendar month (1st to 31st for instance or a 30 or 31 day period split over 2 months?) in which case, half the holiday is in Aug & Sept,  ROAMING pass is £25.00 per month x 3 phones = £75.00 x 2 months = £150.00

It's per billing month. So if your billing date falls between you'll pay pro-rata for the 1st part month & the full £25 for the following month.

i have 3 phones and going to Spain 16/08 to 3/09

Roaming Charges for all 3 work out at £7.41 per day giving a total of £140.79

However a Roaming Pass for each would be £25 x 3 giving a total of £75

So, given the dates I'm going, i set roaming to start on 16/08 come the 31/08 am I at point being charged for the whole month of August so £75.00 then for the first 3 days of Sept, is it another full month or pro-rata for 3 days ie £75 divided by 30 days in Sept = £2.50 then x 3 days = a further £7.50

£82.50 to take 3 phones to Spain and use as normal?

@SteveP73 : I had already told you it's not done by calendar month but by billing month. Only the 1st part month is pro-rated. The following should cover your Qs ...

The Roam Abroad Pass costs £25 per billing month from the billing month you order it (text ROAMING PASS to 150) until the billing month you cancel it (text STOP ROAMING PASS to 150). For all billing months during which you have the Pass it is charged at the full £25. However if the Pass is carried over from the 1st billing month to the next it will be charged pro-rata for that 1st month alone.

Just to reinforce the point already made, what matters is your billing date - the date each month your bills are produced.

Between the activation of your billing add-on, and that date, you are charged pro-rata. Once you are in the bill cycle, you will pay the full £25/month charge until the end of the cycle in which you cancel.

For a single 2week trip, it's quite likely the daily charge will be cheaper.
