Text messages about missed calls without the phone ringing

Hey im having the same issue but no one can resolve it for me i dont undersrand… did you manage to get it sorted?

Only calls that ring on your phone will register in the call logs. Whether you miss the ringing call or answer it, what matters is that your phone has rung. If an incoming call doesn't reach your phone for whatever reason, the call log won't show it.

iPhone 12

my iPhone 12 will not ring. I have tried all the recommended solutions but still no luck. can you advise if there is anything further to try;

I have checked

• the haptics
• the sound volume
• have reset the phone using the the hard reset
• checked that do not disturb is off
• checked that blocked numbers is off

now run out of ideas

Is this something that has just started happening recently? Could you check your postcode on our network status checker please? It will let you know if we're aware of any issues in your area, and let you report one if we're not.

I thought everbody knew that's calssic EE problem for which there is no resolution since 2016!

It seems like normal behaviour for this to happen if a phone has lost network connection. Often a reboot of the phone can help.

It could be an indicator of a local problem too, which is why I mentioned checking the network status checker.
