Scam call

0151 837 5064 This number called me to try to scam me by impersonating EE and trying to renew my subscription. They took my personal details but I only started suspecting fraud when they tried to ask for my card details, so I didn’t give those out. I’m concerned that they might call EE and impersonate me using my personal details. I’ve tried calling EE for hours but haven’t been able to reach them

You've done the right thing by being extra cautious here and not supplying any further information. 

The number is not listed within the Numbers EE partners will call from, and How Do We Contact You About Your Account help pages, so I would agree that this has not been a genuine call.

Please make sure to report the call using this form 👉 Report a scam call. We’ll pass your report on to our partner Hiya, who’ll use it to improve call protection in the future.

If you need to change your online account password, please do that as soon as you can.
