Hello,
I am experiencing this same issue right now in Mexico. I would love to be able to contact EE but I have no signal. My partner is also on EE and has the same phone as me - has had no issue with signal. I tried calling but cannot get through to the team. OG poster, are you aware of the route cause of the issue? I’ve tried everything under the sun - on/off, restart/reset, roaming/etc

Have you tried manually searching for other networks in your phone settings?
Do you have a pay as you go or pay monthly account?

Did you text ROAMING to 150 before travelling to make sure roaming was set up?

Glad you got sorted. It took me a year to get EE to check my settings were correct on my account- they kept saying all the right boxes were ticked then I got a guy in Ireland who said there was a box unticked 😩.
