Are you able to use other internet-functions over the same WiFi network?

Do other phones have the same issue on that same broadband router? Does your phone have the same issue on other routers?

Hi Bristolian

Yes. Other internet functions are all 100% and always have been - I have a 400Mbs wifi,  and am working only 3-4 feet from a Gigaclear router.

I dont really use other routers because when not here I am in London on 4/5G solid signal. I am unclear whether my wife does use wifi calling and she just said 'whats that?' as she went thru the room, so I dont know whether she is using 4G on 1 bar in kitchen for calls (where there can be slight signal), or is using wifi calling without problem.

By the way, I just dialed my wife's phone and it went straight thru and rang it - but calling to a landline or mobile an hour ago, it just never connected and eventually went 'call cannot be completed'.

So it's apparently fine now - but its the unreliablity of it - that is disconcerting; I missed several calls when I was readily available too - tonight and yesterday.

Will report on any further drop outs - I do wonder if the Broadband provider has some connectivity issues to telephony network - I wonder if its not the phone but a component of BB signal that is absent, even though its still (when not workibg) speed testing at 398/400 MbS?
