Hi @LenFo

As another user has confirmed they are on EE and can use Gigaclear WiFi Calling there would not be a compatibility issues.

What phone are you using? Has WiFi Calling worked on other networks OK?

Katie

Hi Katie

On a good day we have one bar 3G signal strength but a good quality broadband of 100Meg +.

Our phones are not the latest 😒

Samsung A22

Samsung A40

could that be the problem?

we haven’t knowingly used wifi calling elsewhere.

At home for friends and family we revert to WhatsApp or FaceTime for calls but often need to use mobiles .

thanks

@LenFo  It doesn’t matter how old the device are if they support Wi-Fi calling as they just use a Wi-Fi connection to connect to the network.    Your issue could be with the firewall of your router blocking this from working.   This was the issue when Wi-Fi calling started to roll out.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Some Android phones have an option to set "WiFi preferred" or "mobile preferred", that's an option worth checking and potentially experimenting with.

Historically, a 2G or 3G coverage layer would be a lower priority than WiFi-calling, but I'm not convinced that's currently the case.

Has anyone else been able to use WiFi-calling when connected to your broadband router? The ports used are universal.
