Hi EE Community Support Team,
We both have Sumsung A22 phones. We have gone to Australia for 8 months. We send each other a text monthly to make sure that our phone accounts are not cancelled due to non-use. It worked December 1st. We went to do the same this week (first week of January) and got the message "Can't send text message - Error 0". Nothing has changed with our phones as we really don't use them (apart from WhatsApp) as we have local phones.
I cannot text anybody (can't send....), nor call anybody. I get a message saying "calls to this number are barred". I can use WhatsApp, but the phone is hooked into our router.
Any ideas why things have suddenly changed?
Thanks,
Glenn

If you mean your payments are suspended until you get back to UK, I should be wary of that "agreement". EE just don't do that.

Hi XRay,
That is what started this whole sequence. We moved to PAYG (10 pound on the account which I added in December) so we would not ahve to pay 10 pound per month while we were away for 10 months in Australia. If I had of known that the PAYG change would have caused this, I would ahve sucked up the 100 pound charge (200 for 2 phones). Our account would be suspended, meaning if we dont use our phones within 1-2 months our numbers would be discontinued. Solution is to get them unsuspended and then go through the same process (no activity, warning, suspension, call to unsuspend) until we get back to the UK.
