Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone can help me troubleshoot an issue we’re facing. My family (myself, my wife, and my daughter) are all on EE, and my wife is unable to call my daughter. This happens both with normal calls and WhatsApp calls – the connection just doesn’t go through no matter where they are. They both can send and receive text messages.
Here’s the situation:
My next thought was to reset both phones to factory settings, but I wanted to check if anyone has suggestions or advice before taking that step.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue, or can anyone guide me on what to try next?
Thanks in advance for your help!

WhatsApp is just an internet app, usage of it is treated by both your phone and the mobile network as data - all this proves is you have a working internet connection.
Can you call both affected lines from other phones? If you've not done so already, try calling with & without caller-ID - see what difference this makes.
Is this a recent problem, and if so - when did it start? Were you able to reliably call between each user prior?

Thank you, Bristolian, for your quick response and helpful advice. I can confirming that both lines work correctly. The issue between my wife and daughter has been ongoing for over a year now, so I’ll definitely try making calls with and without caller ID enabled to see if that makes a difference. I’ll let you know how it goes—thanks again for your support!

Can your wife and daughter call other phones?
Note that ordinary dialled voice are completely separate & diff from calls made thro' an app like WhatsApp.
