Phone not connecting to roaming partner abroad - Pay Monthly

Hi all,

I'm currently abroad in West Africa (specifically Guinea Bissau), and I'm having difficulties connecting to the local network operator (Orange GB).

Whenever I try, I get the "Your Sim Card doesn't allow connection to this network" message. I assume this is a fault with the sim card.

I tried speaking with EE support, but they can't find any problems on their end.

Funny enough, whenever I'm in mainland Europe, or Morocco, I automatically connect to the local partner network.

Hello @dgmjr2018 ,

Welcome to the community,

EE cannot be responsible for networks in other countries, but have you tried a manual search to see if you can connect rather than automatic network connection.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
