Not able to receive text messages?

I have recently ported my number to EE in May and I’ve been able to receive text messages up to a few weeks ago but I don’t receive any more text messages from anyone especially when websites send me a code to my phone number and I don’t receive anything of that sort I have called on 150 and the other number from other services but every time I choose the options one or two it tells me to wait for a text message but I cannot receive any text messages. Therefore I cannot even speak to a member of staff. Please help . I need to speak to a member of staff, but I am unable unable to do so because it keeps sending me text messages but my phone is not allowing me to receive text messages for some reason. Thank you

Thanks for coming to the community. 

Have you tried restarting your phone? 

Are you able to try the SIM card in another phone to see if you can receive the texts?
