I am abroad in pakistan, but having no service. I have tried to restart, sim in out, checked account setting , and checked roaming setting, network selection. No local network is being detected and i m not able to get texts. please help.

Are you on PAYG or pay-monthly?
If pay-monthly - did you enable international roaming before leaving the UK, by texting ROAMING to 150?
If PAYG - did you use your phone in the UK before travelling abroad?

Hi thank you for getting back.
It's pay monthly and roaming /spending cap is set to 20.
Sorry I didn't know I had to send a text. It won't go now "failed delivery" I'm stuck it looks like.

Even if your roaming wasn't activated, you should still be able to see available networks in the area. Are you definitely in an area with mobile coverage?

Dont get any networks on auto network selection (iphone 13) but I see the networks when auto network selection is "off" but tried all of them do not hav any connectivity unfortunately.

Cant even call 150 - No service. There is no direct Live chat option.
Looking at the forum- there are some other threads with similar problme with EE as well.

I've known others in a similar situation call our customer service team through a VoIP service, such as Skype. Hopefully they'll be able to help you get connected.

Just been to the Customer service via a VOIP service (although not a convenient one) and spoke to a lovely lady.
They had to manually switch on the roaming service Glad it is sorted the problem.
