Morning
My phone (samsung Galaxy S22) has decided on 2 occasions within a week to not let me make outgoing calls.
I am a bit worried because my husband is due to be in hospital for around 3 to 4 weeks soon and I will be traveling for a couple of hours along the motorway myself early morning and evening. I need my phone to be relied on in an emergency. It takes around 5 minutes to reboot then it is ok again.
I am on a monthly contract and live in Scotland.
Thanks for any help. Desperate to sort this out asap.

Hi @Suze27
Thanks for coming to the community.
Do you get an error message when the call wont connect?
Is this happening in more than one area?
Leanne.

Hi
Thanks for your reply.
The calls just don't connect, no ringtone or noise just don't dial.
The area used has been 2 completely different areas - Glasgow and Dumfries. When I think back, it has happened before a few weeks back.
Hope you can help as I need my phone to be reliable.

Hi @Suze27,
What is displayed in your phone's status bar when the calls fail?
Does it show a network connection?

Yes. When I dial the number/name shows on screen as I dial like normal but just goes back to screen before with number again as if I havent dialled at all.
Thanks

Hi @Suze27,
When this happens, does the signal indicator at the top right of your phone show it is connected to EE?

I didnt notice sorry. I think it did as the first time it happened I thought that it was the number I was dialling that had problems. Several hours later and many attempts laater I decided to try someone else and realised it wouldnt dial. I would have noticed if I didnt have a signal. I switched phone off then on and it worked again.
Thanks for your help.

No problem @Suze27
If it happens again please check the signal indicator. You can report network issues at EE Coverage & Network Status Checker | Check your signal.
Hope this helps.

Hi @Suze27,
Were you both trying to make a call from the same location at the same time?
If a restart fixed the issue, you may have received a network update that required a restart to install.
If it happens again, don't hesitate to get in touch with Technical Support.
