As many others have posted, landed in USA with no US network provider bring picked up.
I Phone 14 is on annual contract with roaming switched on and spend cap off. Called EE CS who confirmed everything set up on account for roaming here. Have tried manually connecting to networks and restarting phone several times.
What am I missing here?

I've separated your post from the rest of the thread, because you've not confirmed that roaming has been working previously and thus is not necessarily the same issue.
You've doe the right thing in contacting CS, if they confirmed specifically that global roaming is enabled, you will have to wait for (what seems to be) the network issue to be resolved. But many people confuse the free roaming facility with a chargeable billing add-on, and assume the latter enables the former. It does not.
