Hi,
I have a roam abroad add-on to be able to use inclusive data in the USA yet the only network I can use is T-Mobile 3G despite trying my SIM card in 3 different handsets... I've forced 4G only and no such luck. EE Twitter team say nothing is wrong!!
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

This issue had been resolved by the BT mobile tech team. My SIM was enrolled in the new mobile network trial which messed up 4G roaming access abroad, removing the profile from my account resolved this issue.

Your in the USA, when it comes to 3/4/5G Bands and Frequencies they make the stuff up as they go along, even differing Regions are different, you going to need a true Global Phone covering pretty much all the Bands in order to make any headway.
If your out there for a long stay then you need to do some homework on the Networks and what Bands they use and in what Areas then work from there and or source a USA intended Phone.

Hi,
I am fully aware of the different network bands in use here and as such I only have phones with global band support.
I am using:
Google Pixel 5 (USA variant)
Asus smartphone for Snapdragon insiders
Most definitely it's an EE problem that needs fixing ASAP.

If your able to Roam using an EE Sim Card on 3G then its unlikely to be an EE issue, more along the lines of a Device or the Roaming Network.
If your using an UK EE Sim in a Non UK phone that may be problematic but 1st thing I would check is the Phone in question has the correct EE APN Settings for the EE Network and set as the default settings, then just double check all the Mobile Data Settings are correctly set for example 2,3,4 & 5G Preferred.
Are you using the EE Sim in a Dual Sim Phone?

Can you use data on 4G, or this is only a VoLTE issue?

Hi,
Nope not even 4G data only works... I can perform a manual network scan and all the 4G/LTE networks will show but when manually select either T-Mobile or AT&T 4G it results in no service and then eventually pinged onto T-Mobile H+ data...

Im sorry but I dont understand what that means?
Is that Nope, to my question on the EE APN Settings are correct or not, or Nope to @bristolian question on Data or an VoLTE issue?
On the Manual Network Selection, it will show what Networks are available at a giving time in your Area, this has no reflection on what Networks are available for you to pick or choose to use, I dont really understand where this is going to help you.
