My phone won't connect to a network in USA

I'm in the USA and my phone won't connect to a network? I have the roam further add on.

 

I have tried to load the page where I can toggle roaming etc, but it continually says that there is an error, and all the toggles are blocked.

 

Any help would be much appreciated!

Same! My phone won’t connect to any network at all. No welcome text from EE. Rebooted phone many times and also taken sim in and out….. what state are you in? Does anyone know how to resolve pls!

If you are unable to activate the Roaming and call abroad settings in your My EE account, you would need to call us from another phone on +44 7953966250. Our customer care team will help you get set up.

If you have a pay monthly device, you would need roaming activated to connect to a roaming network. 

 

Can you try logging into your My EE account online go to Menu > Account Settings > Parental and Data Controls > Enable Roaming and also Make calls abroad from the UK > Do they show as ticked? 

 

If not, can you activate both settings?

@Haydzilla , @Francesca44 , you can also ring customer service using their free number and Skype, you will find the free number, by clicking on the Contact EE at the top of this page.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

They both show as ticked... I've restarted my phone a number of times, but still no network.

 

I have a busy week, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Have you tried manually connecting to a network in your phone settings?

Yes I have. The phone says that it can't find any.

 

I have also tried phoning customer service from another phone, I stay on hold for about 10mins and then it cuts me off.

 

Again, any help greatly appreciated

Have you activated the Roaming settings today? 

 

If so, this can take up to 24 hours to become active.
