My new number is still registered with another network

I've had my phone number for 3 weeks now and I'm getting SMS messages from the Three network addressed to an individual that I do not recognise, saying that this person needs to contact them regarding payment.  Is there any danger that Three can stop/control my new number??

No, this is a brand new number provided to me by EE.  I've never been with EE before and certainly never with Three.

I managed to get through to EE help and they suggested I contact Three.  I have done so and they have apologised but it has still taken

Hi @StrathGC

Are you still getting messages from Three?

If so, I would suggest contacting them again to see if they can help you further.

Leanne.
