Motorola Razr 60 Ultra WiFi Calling issue

Hi all,

I'm having WiFi calling issues with Moto Razr 60 ultra where people can hear me on the call but I can't hear them. My brother's phone is able to connect to WiFi calling and he's on EE as well. Also my mum's phone is able to connect and she also is on EE. I rang EE technical support who refreshed connection on EE end and also told me reset the phones network settings which made no difference.

I've ruled it out being weak WiFi signal as rebooted router and used a WiFi analyser to determine any interference.

I have EE broadband 900mb which is exceptional.

So everything is leading me to suspect it's the phone at fault. Has anyone else had similar problems

Thanks in advance any help would be much appreciated 👍 🙂

Hi @Linzi_H ,

I've isolated it down to router after a friend pointed out to me something I didn't think of. My mum's and brothers phones don't have WiFi 7 so can't use the 6ghz band so they use the 5ghz and so I managed to get my phone on the 5ghz band and WiFi calling works. My friends both have older routers. It's a strong 6ghz signal I get on my phone no problem.

I've since cancelled my broadband it's too expensive and time consuming trying to fix it doesn't justify the cost. And also I was angry at the EE broadband for out blank resetting the router to factory settings without warning. Sending another router won't fix it. Having the ability to lower tx power levels so the signal is less noisy would fix it.

Thanks everyone for there help
